This is a good view of the Black Faced sheep seen in great numbers in western Ireland. This fellow's great set of horns caught my attention while I was walking along the Atlantic Drive near the village of Bolinglanna, Corraun Peninsula, County Mayo. His flock was enclosed in a field, but western County Mayo has many areas of open range where the sheep roam free. His colorful shoulders contain his owner's brand.
