Images of Acadia National Park – Northeastern Maine, taken in July 2014.
Along the coast of Maine, where the Atlantic Ocean meets jagged rock formations and thick lush forests, sits Acadia National Park. Home to Cadillac Mountain, the tallest mountain on the Atlantic coast, rugged ocean swept coastlines and stunning vistas, this park was both serene and exhilarating.
Perched on the edge of the park is the town of Bar Harbor were I dined on fresh boiled Maine lobster for two nights in a row. Several times in fact I had witnessed lobster boats hauling in the catch of the day so it is possible that I actually viewed my dinner being caught…why eat anything else!
