Iceland: Between eternal Fire and ancient Ice

The most amazing about Iceland are the natural wonders. Volcanoes with fire and glaciers with ice together formed this land of fascinations.
To the four directions of this small island, there are four types of landscape. Around the area of Reykjavik, southwest of Iceland, are thermal water and the geysers; to the north, where more volcano activities are present, burnt earth causes the land almost plantless; the east part is the long coast line, many fjords are here; and on the south side are the giant glaciers which extend almost to the sea level.
Outside in the Ocean around the island, in the large range of waters, many animals are living, such as the whales and the puffins.
