In September 2012, we had the pleasure to make a whirlwind tour of Italy. Our tour showed us many places, although nothing really in depth. The hotels included in the tour were excellent. And most unusual of all was the transportation. In addition, to getting to Italy by plane, we traveled on a bullet train, a regional train, hydrofoil, motor coach, mini-bus, ferry, open air taxi, gondola and water taxi. The country was beautiful.
