Thursday is my favorite day of the week.
It's the day that we retire to the diner after the Peak Potential adaptive rock climbing session to catch up on the week with friends. The food is not the best, and I fear that I must admit that even the quantity does NOT make up for the quality. Then again, where else can you start an eggplant parmesan meal with a bowl of matzoh ball soup.
Thursdays are great in general but today held particular significance. The diner was the site of an inpromptu celebration of Evelyne's birthday. So, it was a night of mediocre food, but the company was second to none. And, this particular Thursday was one of my favorite of the year.
