Reunions make me smile. Okay, some make me wince but I won't elaborate on those situations. Tonight was certainly one of the happy ones.
I rarely get to see Corinne now that she has moved up to New Paltz to pursue her studies. I do miss her enthusiasm and perpetually optimistic outlook. It can be contageous...a good thing. Many of us can use a heavy inoculation of it sometimes.
I started my six months of travels last year in Corinne's company. We traveled to Italy together to explore and climb the limestone mountains of the Dolomites. We shared plenty of adventure and I owe much to Corinne's friendliness. She taught me how to approach strangers as friends which helped to enrich all of my travels that followed. I firmly believe that we are the sum of all of our experiences and Corinne has helped to add much to my life.
