Vacations should be fun, right? Alice is having fun. See, she's still smiling. I wish this photo was sharper so you can see her nice smile but take my word for it. I was in the river when I shot the photo so things were a little shaky. Maybe Alice is smiling because she hasn't been swept away by the rising river yet.
This stream crossing was necessary during our kayak/hiking trip to Secret Waterfall. I have some photos of the beautiful waterfall but I thought this photo captured the spirit of the day better. Alice is quite a trooper, braving a good deal of adversity in the name of "fun". This is my way of saying thank you to Alice for being my "partner in crime".
