Alice and I landed in Kauai today and what did we do? We ate some yummy food and went right back to the airport. No, we didn’t leave this island. We caught a helicopter for a quick egret-eye view of the island. This island is truly magnificent! A little bit of luck with timing helps also. This rainbow appeared almost on cue as we came up to this scene.
Tomorrow, we start a more intimate investigation of the island!
P.S. Thanks to our small, Asian builds, Alice and I got the best seats on the helicopter…up front right next to the pilot.
