Buddha statue in Hanford's China Alley

In the late 1800's, Hanford had one of the largest Chinese populations in the state, as the expansion of Central Pacific Railroad brought many Chinese workers into the area. The brick buildings that still stand in Hanford's China Alley were formed and fired on site.
