We flew into Brooks Lodge on the morning of Sep 17, stayed at the lodge one night, and then left late afternoon on the second day. The cabin had 4 bunk beds for the 4 of us, so was a bit crowded, but is was clean and worked out fine. Meals, while on the expensive side, were delicious. At this time of year, there are normally few, if any, bears at the falls. However, this year, Silver Salmon were still coming in, so there were bears both at the falls and many other bears at the lower river area.
