Most people are surprised to find a beautiful, untamed Class V rapid on the Potomac River just outside of the Washington, DC Beltway. Each summer kayaking enthusiasts gather at this National Park in Great Falls, Virginia to test their skills & determination in an exciting race through the Great Falls.

For optimal viewing select "Full Screen" from the "View" pull down menu. Underneath the photograph select "original" from the "other sizes:" option. Once you are within a gallery you may automate viewing by selecting "slideshow" in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
