After staying at Pattaya, we headed to the bustling city of Bangkok, and for sure this was like any other big citylife! There were bad traffic and we were sitting in red lights at nights for a while. I didn't think too much of Bangkok, it was just like any other big downtown city.

I'd have to say I liked Patayya better because you could afford to travel by foot and explore more of the city, but in Bangkok, you'd have to take a taxi, or a tuk-tuk, I think that's what it's called... it's like a motorcycle with three wheels, and it can carry 2 people not including the driver. And actually I took one late at night, and it scared the crap out of me, there was a roof over our head so we couldn't see the tall buildings. While on this ride, my friend yells out, look is that an elephant in the middle of the big freaken street? Yes it was! All I could see was the massive leg, it was buck wild for sure!!!

Now this is a just a subjective feeling, but I feel like the whole country of Thailand, I mean I've only been to Pattaya and Bangkok... they are really eager to please tourist, and they will go to extremes to entertain foreigners and thrill seekers, going to length with their shows, such as the animal shows. I mean I've never seen anything like it, such as the snake show, the tiger show, the crocodile show, the elephant show. And even the sexy industry scene felt like a cultural thing, the country of smiles, they are called, and they are here to please. And I guess I feel kind of sad for that notion, almost like a willing rape and abuse of this country...
