John, apart from that you could line up some deck chairs and call it a swimming pool.

Apart from the risk of drowning, the cold water, the pollution, the dangerous underwater obstacles (shopping trolleys) the billion poisonous creatures....Forget the last one, I was thinking of Australia. Is there a good reason you cannot swim here ?.
