I'm back

KPVD

Thanks to everyone for support and happy thoughts. Today is 11 days smoke free (woo hoo). Tain't easy, but
at least I'm told I'm not a total a**hole like last time I quit.

Spent the day at Providence airport working a town hall/career day for one of my clients,
the nation's leading provider of transportation security. Got this shot from the
conference center. Got to go behind the scenes where I couldn't take any shots. What an
awesome group of people. They get dumped on constantly by the press and the traveling public,
and sometimes with good reason. But by and large these are hardworking people doing an often
thankless job for average pay, charged with finding a needle in a field of haystacks.
Oh yeah, and the needle could blow up.
It was a really good day.

Thanks for the shot Jason, I really like flying Southwest.

I have never flown in a commercial airliner, I never will.
I have a vested interest as I live directly under the flight path into London Airport.
Many, many thousands of planes pass over my house at 2,500 feet.
I would like them all to stay up there.
Add my thanks to all airline security people, and may they continue protecting us.

Bravo for your effort to quit smoking. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
Non-sequitur: those 737s were assembled in Renton, Washington.

Nice photo and congratulations, Jason, for quitting. You're a good man. Thanks for the job you're doing, too.
I'm flying probably four times this year. Well, eight if you're counting the round trips as separate.
p.s. I don't even mind that you got a competitor in this shot.

I'm flying twice this year, neither time into the USA, but I like to think the skies are being kept safe too.

Glad to hear you have remained civil and non a**holey, much easier that way. Not that I have any experience being one myself, I always remain in complete chaos, I mean control.

I hope you help them find those needles, Jason, we're all counting on you to keep the skies safe.
