After visiting Ripon, The Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Gardens we headed for The Yorkshire Dales.
I was looking forward to seeing the drystone walls and the green fields of the Dales.
They did not disappoint.
Our driver Chris knew all the backroads and we rarely saw another car.
