Rising Mist Over the Rhine

This photo was taken shortly after I took the one of our longboat docked with blue skies in the distance.
I went up to the top deck to get a view of where we had just been.
I have a feeling this is a common scene along the Rhine.
I found it very pretty with the mist and the beautiful little town in the distance.
I really liked Germany and would love to go back for a longer visit.

The town is Boppard in this beautiful view from the boat with the mystic atmosphere! Scenes like that inspired famous German poets for beautiful poems! How I miss Father Rhein! V Dort, wo der Rhein mit seinen grünen Wellen So mancher Burg bemooste Trümmer grüßt, Dort, wo die edlen Trauben saft'ger schwellen, Und kühler Most des Winzers Müh versüßt.
