The Wishing Well

The color of the water here is not a natural phenomenon but a reaction to the copper pennies dropped in the water.
People have been tossing pennies in here since 1950.
It is cleaned out once a year and over one million dollars has been collected so far.

Terrific colors, exposure and lighting. It truly is a magical world of beauty and mystery. I also enjoyed nature's air conditioning since it was a very hot day when I was there. VV

The color becomes a phenomenon all on its own. I think I'd prefer some other way to make $ to preserve the original beauty.

Beautiful! All the recent pennies are not copper, I wonder if that will change the water color?

the copper corrosion has produced a visually pleasing scene...that blue plays well in this setting, adding a colourful highlight, and profiting the cave enterprise..no problem then..

It is a beautiful color, but too bad it is caused by the pennies. Nicely lit to capture it. V

The color is spectacular, but a little surprised they allowed that to go in this natural wonderland. Of course the money is hard to pass up.
