Drink Stop

Nishinomiya, Hyogo-ken, Japan

Stopping to get some drinks from a roadside vending machine. Note all the drinks here are only 100yen (< $1 Aussie). Who said Japan is expensive?

I get such a kick out of these "everyday life in Japan" shots. I can sound out the kana on the street sign and vending machine---even though I'm clueless as to what the words mean. It's so interesting to see words like "Black" used as brand names. You put that mirror to excellent use for this shot, James. It's terrific.
