Nagaoka-Tenjin Station

Nagaokakyo, Kyoto-fu, Japan view map

The Hankyu Nagaoka-Tenjin Station is one of two railways stations in Nagaokakyo (the other being JR Nagaokakyo Station). It is a major stop on the Hankyu Kyoto line with all train types stopping here. The fares Hankyu trains are about 40% cheaper than JR, but don't offer as many destinations and through services as JR. However on Hankyu when going into Osaka, you can change on to a Subway train on the same ticket at Awaji Station which makes it very convenient for travel into the Osaka CBD from Nagaokakyo.
