Step 9

Tallahassee / Quincy, Florida

After returning your Faery to 100 percent opacity, find an image on your computer of a butterfly or a dragonfly wing. When I travel about during the day, I almost always take my camera with me, for you never know when you will find a pretty little butterfly or a dragonfly resting on a flower or branch. I always take an image of them, saving them to a “wings” gallery in my hard drive. This particular set of dragon fly wings I took some time again ago with my Canon XT. It’s not really important (and sometimes impossible) to get both halves of a wing in perfect focus. It’s only important to get one side of it, as you can copy the image and flip it horizontal. Use the same technique to crop around the wing and use the copy and paste commands to copy it into your image. It should now look something like this.
