I guess every man in America has a shelf or a rack that holds auto
products like these. In a way, it’s all a part of the entire “Being
Prepared” mentality, … but it’s strangely comforting to know that
if the transmission fluid is low, … or if the wife’s car develops
A slow leak, … or even if a door hinge is squeaking, … the
product is right here in the home to deal with the problem.

Yeah, … cans of oil and goop and stuff that might be needed.
A guy thing.

I know exactly where you are coming from here John. Just last night I was taking my pc to he who has more knowledge and the back door of my car groaned something awful. Amongst the WD-40, STP and Gunks, etc was a can of low viscosity, foaming oil that permeates into hinges and sliders. It did a grand job till I can get in there for a more permanent fix – now shall I use the copper coat or the lime calcium based grease …
Yup, definitely a man thing.

Looking at this makes me wonder if you have had a flat or 2 in your day? :)
