Let Me Level With You

I'm very grumpy today. The flu attacked me in the middle of the night, and I spent most of the night
shivering and shaking. To top that off, today was home improvement day. The Wife wanted some shelves put
up in her home office, but the project came to a screeching halt when we discovered that the plaster
in her office was so rotten (love these Victorian homes) that it would never support the weight of a shelf.

Even though the shelves did not work out, I was left with these two bright yellow spirit levels that
I bought yesterday, so I was able at least to recoup some of my investment!

I like the shallow depth of field, because that is how I feel today - a bit blurry and woozy.

There was another shot of the levels which I liked, but I prefer this one.

Nikon D70 ,Nikkor 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED-IF AF
1/60s f/5.3 at 80.0mm iso200 with Flash full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Got sick to get out of work? ;-)
I like the yellow too. I think these shots do measure up! Metric or US?

I like the one with the numbers on the leveler that is upside down too. Nice contrast with the yellows and white.

What I like about this image are the colors. I've always been attracted to yellow. Sorry you're sick but it did get you out of some work, no? See there's always a bright side... LOL

You cannot be serious... Ill, and still being made to put up shelves!!!

Thats a nice pic for a sick guy! Quit whining and get that shelf up and then
build that sunroom you've been promising her. Now when you get that done I've got a few things around here for you to work on too. :-)
Seriously take care of yourself man! Hope you feel better soon.

You should crawl into bed, have your wive make you some good tea and then have her join you and have a camp out in bed or picknic. I promise you feel better right away, better then any medicine! Hope you feel better soon, nice image too!
