Now For Something (A Bit) Different

I have cheated a bit today; I have taken this photo before. This is the outside of the Lloyd's of London
building at night. I used a daytime view as my PaD on 14 December. Looks a bit different, doesn't it?

it's not cheating at all - we all go back to the same things - and we all take inspiration from one another - that's one of the nice things about all of this.

nice shot but about 200 years too modern for me. ;)

Nice shot! You need to get a tripod and go back! Very nicely composed and I love the mixture of lights and shadows

Really like how you've captured the light here Jim. You are able to retain a lot of the detail even with more exposed areas--good work, for sure. (Not cheating....)

I like the mood in this picture and the structure of that building. I agree with the others, you did not cheat, there are so many ways to see one item in many different ways.

You didn't cheat,Jim...it's a totally different view and mood. Neat lighting on a very unusual building.

I remember the photo from the 14th, I really like it. This one's very cool, too. I think you could shoot this building everyday for a month and still get a little different feeling each time.

This really is an amazing builiding and your photos of it are great. We took Jeremy's neice into the City for the 'open house' weekend - we were hoping to visit the "gherkin" but the queues for that building and the Lloyds building were so long that we gave up and went shopping instead. A nice shot.

Cool, looks interesting at night with the lights but I also liked your pic of it in the daytime.
