Blue and Coral Arches

Some things are just better in person. When walking to the office today, I spotted these windows on the facade of a
building on Eastchheap that I must have walked past 400 times in the past two years. Wow, I thought. The blue columns
against the coral arches look interesting. They certainly are out of character compared with most of the neighbouring buildings.

They probably still do and probably still are. I am not sure if this photo, however, does them justice ...
even though I returned at lunchtime to photograph them when the light was just a wee bit better than at 8am.

Jim I really like this. Perfect exposure and fantastic details. The composition really draws you in. Well done.

Beautiful details. I agree with Lisa. Doing this makes us look and become aware of designs and situations we'd otherwise never see. It is very nice work you do.

I love those colors, they are very unusual for those type of windows. Nicely seen and nice photo.

You did a great job with this. I think that getting the right angle on some pieces of architecture can be difficult but this one turned out perfectly. Intersting colors and a good perspective!

Very interesting colors and arches on this building. I agree,I have seen things I've never seen before since I started PaD.

Looks really good, well spotted. It's funny how doing PaD makes us see things differently!

Fun colors!

Well I really like them. A touch of Venice (or Portmeirion at least).
