The Pixel 8 only has 2X optical zoom, so when I want longer reach I have to either crop a lot or use digital zoom - and 8X is the maximum the camera will use.

The late afternoon sun makes for annoying internal reflections between the panes of glass of my sliding door, but I think the camera did amazingly well for such a difficult situation.
