It's the sky over Bodie that often tells the story. The contrails juxtaposed against the old buildings. This shot seems particularly lonely, as well, which is part of Bodie's spell. I saw those contrails when I was there with Dave as well (http://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/35602348 ).

I love the way you did these' upward' shots in Bodie..... it seems to lend itself to the Bodie mystique.
