I just spent a few hours looking at your China images, and am very encouraged by what I see. Your eye seems to have matured significantly -- there are so many substantive images here that abstract the subject, ask questions of the viewer, pose incongruities, and convey richly expressed human values. I have indicated those images that I think are very special, and why I think they are.

As for your photo-editing choices, you mentioned to Tim, in your comment on his shot of the little hutong girl hiding behind a door knob, you have difficulty making choices when it comes to editing and presenting your work to others. This leads to redundancy -- saying the same thing over again. No harm is done by the redundant editing here, since you do not intend your pictures to work together, where the meaning of the sum is more important than the meaning of the individual images. But if the time comes when a gallery is intended to be seen as coherent story or essay, you will have to bite the bullet and become more selective and emphatic as a photo-editor.
Less is usually more when it comes to expression, and while it is hard to separate yourself from the making of a picture, if cumulative communication is desired, you must stand back and look at each picture objectiely in terms of what it says to an audience, and then say it once and say it well, so that each and every image in a gallery has a job to do in terms of the whole presentation. The photos in these galleries are fantastic. They are not just artistic but also thought provoking and emotionally moving. I've been in China, but not with your eye. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting it again with you!
