Hoy -Ya

So I'm at Future Shop the other day doing the man thing and look what I find...
Patti just posted an image http://www.pbase.com/pkocinski/image/93259907 of her
broken filter and we all left comments....
So I use'em and I don't....right but I did need a NDx8 and all I could find was 2 NDx4's
But look at the price....$4.99 each on sale...twenty bucks plus the tax...
If they would have had more in this 72mm and 77mm I'd have got them all.
The normal price is $49.99 each....that's $200.00 bucks plus the tax right here....
Man sometimes you just get lucky..today was my lucky day.....
The 77mm UV filters can get used for some special in camera tricks if I rework them....

Nikon D200
1/80s f/5.3 at 95.0mm iso800 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

What a neat find. I feel lucky when Red Grapes are only $1.00 a pound!
A ND filter might be fun for those snow shots.

Geez, wish I had seen this post BEFORE I went with brother-in-law to Future Shop so he could buy an Xbox 360. Might just have to go back tomorrow to check on things...great shot too Mike!

Oh-yeah – gotta love a bargain. Might pop out to the local shop tomorrow. Oh, and a neat composition too Mike.

You got a real deal and for an ND no less. I do see a couple UV in there too :-) I like the composition of the image. You do things so well.

There sure are a lot of numbers in your narrative. For a minute I thought I was reading a sotry problem in math class. A train leaves Toronto at 5:56pm.........

Hoya makes a decent filter. They make the filters for Calumet, so that's where I get all my filters from now on as they are a little cheaper there. Not THIS cheap though. Great deal!!
