Suspiria

This house was more of a challenge in daylight then at night.
I'm always very carefull when exploring old place's, and this one
would get me in the end.....I have rules I follow and I stick to them.
I was with Arlene and Kyle in this house and we made the move to go up stairs.
There was one step missing and the other was very unstable...and if I had been on my own
I would have never gone up to the second floor, all went fine until the trip down and I was the
first to go. I hooked my one arm around the old railing and started down backwards.
When my foot hit the loose stair down I fell only to be saved by the rail and one stair at my armpits,
the rest of me camera and all hanging with the basement ten feet below.
Needless to say I have bruised ribs and sore arms...and this was in the daylight.
I shot the rest of the day and that night in some pretty bad pain..but never let the others know
how bad I really was....today I'm very sore....but I will be OK.....
I painted the roof of this house and then painted the trees from the back and set lights only on the main floor....
The red light was set so it would show out of the main floor and second floor stairway windows.
Again the full Moon helps with the rest of the light.

Mike, Mike, Mike...remember the rules; always. Don't make me come out there.

Love this shot though, and lighting only the main floor.

Oh Mike, I'm glad you caught yourself and that you're okay....this photo is great, worth shooting through the pain, but still....I always thought you were gutsy for going into these abandoned buildings!!

You are a trooper Mike! Continue shooting even in pain. Glad youre ok! I wonder if you will skip going up stairs when you see the same kind of thing again?!?! Another time I would love to hear your rules! I have yet to go venturing into places like this.
