Rock Abstract 1

Cummingstown, Moray, Scotland.

Some of the rocks around the Moray coast are just amazingly colourful particularly when photographed under soft shadowless lighting. The textures and detail is so tangible it feels like you could just reach out and touch them. I hope I have managed to capture some of that essence in this simple rock abstract.

NEW!! Photographic Workshops at TRANSIENT LIGHT.

Eat your heart out, digital world!
The assertiveness of the "old" medium is obvious.
Great composition, Ian!

As wonderful as your expansive landscapes are, I *really* love this one. Sometimes there is a whole world of colour just down by your feet.
