Ashley's Dad wrote this caption for her original Pet Trekkers photo:
"Ashley was born on July 18, 1998 and was given the racing name of COLDWATER ASHLEY. She raced for 6 months at Tucson Greyhound Park. Her breeder is out of Goodyear, Arizona. She is a wonderful 45 mph couch potato who loves children and retirement! Ashley is the BEST pet anyone could be lucky enough to own."
What I really remember about Ashley was her regal bearing when she would enter the dog run. AND she always had the most magnificent red-painted toenails! She was a real beauty and a very sweet dog.
Ashley and her family moved away from the park a couple years after this photo was taken.
