Small Tragedies Of Big Forest, Carara National Park

These spiders are spread all over Costa Rica, this particular one was the biggest I ever saw, while reaching about 10 cm (!) in size.

No doubts, this menacing spider is a direct descendant of Belzebulb himself, and all angels of hell definitely took lessons of bloodsucking from this fella...

Hello Eldar. Amazing all DAT you can find in Costa Rica! What terrific angle in capturing this gloriously colorful spider who is abouit to gobble up his prey. No doubt, the evil wizards of old, Vepar, Andra and Forneus took useful lessons from this small, but potent spectacular critter. Well done. Ciao Michael.

Very good capture....your shot that is. Strange big spider...last segment of legs so thin, like feelers, and looks like he's carrying some kind of container to the feast!
