A testing meter for circuit testing is very helpful. Some wire strippers that will
handle the 26 guage wire you'll find in the cable and some electrical tape or heat
shrink tubing to finish the job. I used 1/4 inch heat shrink tubing to seal the
connection between the cable and the stereo plug and jack.
