Gare-du-Nord, Paris

Paris

A recent visit through Paris meant that I spend a few hours between The Gare du Nord and Montparnasse. The TGV really is a great form of transport that allows you to see places...

The station dates from 1864 and still withstands the pace of time.

just love this metropolitan sign, that is used round the world, even here in Montréal.

A nearly dramatic frame, a choice of relevent details, a differnt view on a building, a way to identify a town by clues...
An excellent photo!
