Cela a été plaisant de visiter. Bonne chance dans votre entreprise. Votre site est très sobre et très sensuel. Bonne continuation, et espérant pouvoir visiter votre village un jour.

Hello Kees, I cannot submit a word in the guestbook. I would just like to say congratulations on your website as well as your galleries here on PBase- I am very impressed by your work. Keep up the good work!
Eudora Welty said " A good snapshot stops a moment from running away." I think that is exactly what you've been able to achieve. Keep it up.
You already know my opinion about your work.
I just needed to say it again here. Bravo Kees.
Love your work man!
Kees....so modest. Your photographs show us, not just the beauty of others and the world around us, but also the beauty within YOU. Through your eyes we are privileged with so much to enjoy, marvel, laugh and experience. Thank you...Love from Donné
Nicely put and I can totally align myself with these values. Your 'happy snaps' have inspired so many of us photog's and brought a moment of happiness to a mass. That is my goal as well. .....Left and right brain people need to connect. Thanks for sharing.

Snapshots, hehehe, I have heard it a few times now. Why do I refer to my work as snapshots? I explained it below my portrait.... but hey,...
I am just a happy snapper and in the end there is only one person that needs to be pleased. That is myself to be able to justify the large sums of money that have been invested in photographic equipment.
Ever since photography has been accepted as an art form and people have started to pay 7 figure sums for single photos by artists who lived half a century ago, I have decided that my shots are just snapshots. Anyone could have taken them and you require no special skills to be able to achieve the same or better. My portraits are snapshots of beautiful peaple, just like my landscapes are snapshots of beautiful places. I see and try to capture beauty. If I succeed, and believe me, you have not seen all the failures... I have accomplished a snapshot of something that I believed was beautiful. The beauty I saw, whether it was in a stil life, a person or a landscape, is what I share here.
Snapshots; because that is what they are. I dont have to rely on them to pay my rent or get food on the table. Feedback is welcome but not essential. I enjoyed taking the shots whether they succeeded or not. I am a professional when it comes to my day job, but when it comes down to photography, I am just a happy snapper.
Hence the reference.
