This view is to the south from the end of the salt flats access road. The dark narrow
horizontal band is Interstate 80, about two miles away. A few trucks and automobiles
are present, most easily seen in the ORIGINAL size image. The triples (set of three
semi-trailers almost at photo's center) are heading east toward Salt Lake City.

This is a vast nothingness split by a four-lane highway and a railroad line behind it.
