I'm not sure I agree with the comment by the previous poster that this photograph depicts parallel worlds. To me, the shattered auto and the old, faded Route 66 sign beyond are of one piece. The little bubbles in the glass almost make it looks as if the scene i underwater.

The clarity of detail, the collage of parallel worlds and the diffused textures make this image very compelling and appealing.
