I tried for a shot just like this but it didn't work out. I'm so glad you got it though, and highly successfully too I might add! The frayed edges really tell the story here, as well as looking up into the flag. Just great!
I like your version of this because it has meaning. It is not only graphicaly interesting as in my version: http:// www.pbase.com/mityam/image/56193696 but moves beyond that because you show the frayed edges. Wonderful.
