Tiny Bugly

Simi, CA

* 2-13-06 *

From the thumb, this looks rather busy, which is why I
almost chose one of the shots that is currently posted
in my "IN" box... http://www.pbase.com/image/56072833
I really had a tough time choosing ~ So I left it up to
the kids; who split each way, 1 vote for each shot! Oh
Geez! LOL. So you choose, gimme a vote for whichever you
prefer & then we'll know which is the better of the two!

I like the contrast of the black and whtie. It makes the detail of the bug and flower really stand out.

Very close call but I'll take the color if pushed.

I vote for the black and white -- it makes the bug stand out more for me. Hope you got a model's release signed by him (or her?). LOL

Both too nice to pick, but for the sake of the challenge I go with the b/w.

Have to agree with Coleen--they're both great in their own way. For me it's a challenge when shooting to think of B&W & flowers--I'm a sucker for the beautiful colors. However there's more to the beauty of a flower than its color--it's just a challenge to capture it. (And it takes a bit of skill.) This is a great example--wonderful work.

They're both beautiful in their own way. There is no comparing color to black and white. The flowers really light up in this black and white. Looks like a potato bug.
