I knew this would be a good one when I took it;
I like it in both B&W and in colour. Of course,
I could go to the beach every day & get a shot I
like in either B&W or in colour ~ it's the beach!

Out of the 2 I prefer the colour shot but both work very well, light, DOF, and the barnacles set the shell off a treat. gmv

The lighting is just wonderful, both in color and black and white.

The b/w has such sharp differances that it works beautifully. Not to mention the appeal the sharpness & the great DOF...gmv

This does well in black and white. It shows the different textures and colors on the beach nicely. I like the color one, too. I love the beach.
