I was a crew member one of these aircraft during the "Cold War". I was a meber of the 961st AEW&C Squadron out of Otis AFB in Mass.

We called this version of the Constellation "College Eye" in Vietnam. This plane would orbit and provide early warning of MiGs to pilots going north.
