Me hace sentir como si estuviera en un metro de la ciudad de Mexico... increbible no? Dos mundos totalmente diferentes con imagenes gemelas.

have been a visitor of your pics for a long time. you gallery of shanghai subway is my favourite. I take metro line 2 to go to work every day. these view seems so normal to me. but every time when i look at your shots here, i will be deeply moved. too much to say about your work...
so could only speak out that you are a genious photographer!
waiting for your updates for us all!
**** Jen at her best! I love the way the people are squeezed in to the car -- there is hardly room for that lady's rear end to fit before the door closes on it! Hah! Yet this man is still running along the platform, as if he still has hopes that he will find a door that will still have room for him. The red arrow over his head is even pushing him to go faster! Meanwhile, the woman standing quietly in the foreground represents all of us-- she knows better, and waits for the next train. Wonderful incongruity, very amusing --it is a social comment on the absurdities of modern life. You have a remarkable sense of humor, Jen, and I love to see you use it. This image juxtaposes two important human values: hope (even if misplaced), and patience.
A very interesting shot!! An evocative image of city life... of the maniacal rush hour... It is really great the way you've "staged" the photo with the woman sitting there watching the whole scene, the other man in movement, trying to escape from that crazy place and all the others inside the subway, totally anware of what is happening...
Great work with this city shot.
You know how much I love the static/movement thing, and this is no exception. A crowded train, and a man who tries to escape it all. I love the mimick of the woman on the train in the white coat with her back to us. She is the nemesis of the woman who sits and enjoys the the whole scene like a movie. The only viewer in a cinema that is called life. Yours with esteem. Kal
