This is not in code.
If we can get the glasses that give you such an optical advantage, to all the people who need white sticks to navigate the pavements of London. I.e. optically challenged citizens. Then the people who make the white sticks (white stick makers) they use to tap the pavement would be unemployed. It's an ill wind that blows nobody any good.
