This plaque is on the wall on the steps on the south side of the bridge.
I digitally removed the graffiti on it.
If only I could digitally remove the people who do it.
2 years to build by men using muscle power.
2 years to refurbish using modern machines and technology.

And while we're on the subject, how come we grew up calling it putney railway bridge? if those northern snobs owned it?

took them as long to repair it as to build it, 108 years earlier. aint progress wonderful
