First Cut by Mike Parsons

This chocolate bar had very attractive gold packaging, but that made me reluctant to actually break it open and reveal the insides!

Ah, and this chocolate is about to her virginity to lose :-) This is one example how participants of this challenge really adopted "thinking beyond" and tried to make something different. I liked your explanation Mike and this great texture looks so smooth and inviting. Very subtle shot. Thank you very much!

John,
You have a point of course, but to me this picture is all about the *anticipation* of chocolate (which like all good things in life can sometimes be better than the actual event - in this case the eating!). Think about the way chocolate is packaged - it's absolutely crucial to the overall experience.
Mike.

Mike, I liek this one as a shot. The colour, lighting and composition work great. However, I don't feel it's the strongest example of the chocolate theme. It should have a good home in your photo collection somewhere.
