17 April
Pieris

Pieris, also known as lily of the valley shrub. It's particularly beautiful this time of year because as well as these little flowers, the new foliage is bright red. It's a beautiful day today so I ventured into the garden for my PAD. I've been messing about on the Mac most of the day.

Isn't the new comment management fantastic? Thanks to Slug!

Nice flowers, glad you got some sunshine, we could use some up here !

Lovely delicate flower - I agree with the comment about the dark background setting it off perfectly!

Oh, and I'm happy with the comment system now - much easier to see who's commented on what!

Your right about the new comment format it's great & so is this lovely shot. Thanks for visiting my gallery & leaving your comment on the Lorikeets, Gail. I appreciate it.

A nice study. Confirms the theory of having a dark background to flower pictures for best effect. I do agree about the new comment management system.

Very pretty flowers, and I envy your garden. That said, I am delighted to learn you're a Mac person! Woohoo!

The comment management is wonderful, you can now see what photos and galleries people commented on.
And this is a nice macro.

love this too - even though it's supposed to like acid soil, I've never been able to get one to go here and it's very acidic.

Not sure re the message management yet - seems a bit wobbly to me.
