I also have one of these. A birthday present - I thought I was getting jewellery but no...

Nice, Robin. Provokes reflection with the content and the lighting. Well done.

Great pic Robin! Lighting up the world is inspired... when do you leave and what kind of itin do you have?? And what should we do about getting the green (envy) off our faces??

Looks like a full moon shining on that earth <:o) I like the creativity here.

I love globes. They have a very wise and ... I guess ... worldly ... feel to them. Great light here.

Well the best place is right....there !! How many more sleeps, Robin ;0 My daughter-in-law has a light like this that belonged to her grandfather, it's sepia toned, hence it appears like old parchment.

Is this what they call foreshadowing? You're out of this world, Robin!

Good to see you again, Robin. I was afraid you had sworn off SPs for too long. Have a good trip, my friend.

Oh and by the way... Have a great trip!

Hey Robin...

I tried commenting on this when you first posted it but alas I am getting error messages again when I try to leave comments. I noticed you were playing with lights. That is quite a lovesick look you are giving the globe. Perhaps it is time for you to plan an exotic trip somewhere. I know australia would appeal to me... How about you?

Great shot - be great t take Stu's advice! But again it's sometimes just nice to dream and plan... and procrastinate (think that's the word :)

Very striking photo Robin. Quite like the effect.

Get those hiking boots on and get on a plane to anywhere. Then come back and write a book about it. That is the life I wish for myself... if only I had the talent!

I see that you're studying Eurasia - go! Lots of great places to visit. Now if you could just look down and modify the weather a bit - warm it up about 10 degrees here in the northeast, and share some of that So. Cal. every day weather that you take for granted.
