Home Made Light Tent

Well I had a little more play time today, so I built a light tent with some 3/4 inch PVC and eight 90 deg elbow street corners. I used some sheer satin fabric, but I got too much of it. Cost was about 25 bucks for everything. Well for 20 more I could have got a real one with a better design and real difuser fabric. Also there would be no need to iron the wrinkles out of the store bought light tent, which I was too lazy to do with this home made one.But it filled the empty spot in my schedule for today while Abby was at work.

I am still learning how the 550EX controls the 420EX wirelessly and I am not sure how to setup ratios correctly yet. I am a little hot on the left, where the 420 was and a little underexposed on the front from where the 550EX should be working. Hummmm. I think I might need some help. I think I will post a question in the dpreview.com forums.

Well, nice to see a nice belgian beer on the page of an American. We know we have the best beer in the world ;) I like the picture.

Unfortunately I don't have a G5, so I can't experiment with it.
Sometime I shutter drag a flash shot, just to get more ambient lighting.
Maybe a smaller aperture and longer exposure time might clear out some glare. But I think you did a good job.
