I'm quite a newbee on the Canon Eos 10D (bought it March 2004) so when my girlfriend came up with her idea of an "interior" shot I had my doubts on how to accomplish it.
Shot without a tripod (still saving!) (balanced the camera on the 70-200 tripod collar) and without a lightbox (still saving!) or infrared remote (still saving!) Hand-held the 550EX and triggered it manually when the shutter was open.
