A silent movie star... :)
She reminds me of Louise Brooks.
Extremely artistic treatment for this eye-catching portrait, Barri!

Thanks Gunter. I've had so many nice comments on this one, and I can't remember at all how I did it.

Thanks much Jeanne.

Thanks Peter
When I look at this now after your commenets, I can see exactly what you mean....and yes there is the similarity in the women in that "if she wants anything she will get it"..LOL. I can't remember exactly how I processed this (as with so many of my other abstracted images). I don't think I used the high contrast settings of that particular camera on this, but rather think I went to extreme contrast levels in Photoshop and did some cropping...I think I have a "regular" original I worked off on this.

Barrie, I love this one, so mysterious. Not only it remainds me of silent film era, but when I saw this image right away I thought about(and please don't be offended by the fact that I am comparing the image of your doughter to sombody else, when I look at this image I don't see your doughter, I see a woman) Mata Hari, woman who among other things is synonymous with intrique and sensuality. Her large eyes looking away, head covered by a scarf and the facial expression, I see a strong woman that if she wants anything she will get it.
Any special processing technique applied here?

Bruce
After I did the photoshop on it I kind of thought that too (about the silent film look)...Thanks much for noticing. It's always nice when someone sees what you think you've tried to express.

To echo Matias - cool! Super cool! Has a mysterious feel - like something from the days of silent film. Well done!
